"Be Kind" Is NOT The 11th Commandment, Allen Jackson Warns | Ep. 231

Pastor Allen Jackson of World Outreach Church, author of Let's Pray for America: 30 Prayers for Our Nation's Future, challenges "spectator" Christians who sit out with excuses like refusing to back Donald Trump because "he doesn't talk nice" ("whatever nonsense"). He explains why "be kind" is not the 11th commandment. Then Oxford theologian Alister McGrath, author of the new book Rethinking Christianity, says students no longer just ask whether Christianity makes sense; they ask whether it can give them meaning and a reason to live. Plus why C.S. Lewis still reaches skeptics, and the Bonhoeffer film returns January 24–27.
