Fall Festival

Rating: All Ages

We looked down the road and it honestly seemed like nobody was there, which could only mean one thing: everyone else had already sprinted to the forties line like it was Black Friday. Mom and I decided to plop down and enjoy the lazy afternoon sunshine. Music floated around us while we wandered past apple dumplings—yes, actual whole apples hiding inside like sugary little surprises—and corn steaming away like it was auditioning for a food commercial. I kept trying to stop recording, but every time I did, something new yelled “Wait, look at me!” This trip is one of my favorite fall traditions, the kind I’d repeat forever. It takes us to a quirky little fall festival right in the middle of Florida, in the tiny town of McIntosh. With only about 300 residents, it somehow transforms into a lively, cozy, pumpkin‑flavored universe for one magical weekend.Family Friendly
