Becoming a Champion in a Cave

Mon, 29 Sep 2025 15:55:44 GMT

Some of you say you want to be spiritual champions, but you’re too comfortable. You want the best facilities, perfect conditions, and easy wins. You don’t want to sweat, work, train, obey, or push through the hard places. You resist correction and rebuke but crave comfort, applause, and pats on the back for doing the bare minimum—things every believer should already be doing.

Greatness isn’t built in comfort. Champions are forged in uncomfortable situations, under championship coaches, and with unshakable mental toughness.

If you truly want to win in life, step out of your comfort zone and into the CAVE. That’s where you’ll be trained, stretched, corrected, and equipped to rise as a true champion of faith.

Planting Churches, Not Corporations

Thu, 25 Sep 2025 11:50:07 GMT

In this episode, Doc Murphy reminds us that the Church is not a business—it is a spiritual entity carrying out the business of the Kingdom of God. God’s government is not a secular corporation or a man-made system; it is a divine, spiritual government meant to influence and lead the nations. Churches are not planted or structured like corporate enterprises, but as living, spiritual bodies aligned with Heaven’s order.

Doc teaches that the role of the Church is to raise up believers and strategically deploy them into every sphere of society—politics, business, entertainment, sports, and more—as lights shining in the world. This truth must be grasped as we move forward in fulfilling God’s mission.

This is a must-listen for pastors, leaders, and every believer who wants to understand the true nature of the Church and its Kingdom assignment.

Learn what it truly means to be chosen and equipped by God to shepherd His people.

Moses Ain't Dead...So Keep Serving and Wait Your Turn

Tue, 09 Sep 2025 15:45:54 GMT

In this powerful episode, Doc Murphy delivers a leadership message titled “Moses Ain’t Dead.” Scripture shows us that God didn’t speak to Joshua until after Moses had passed, because Joshua was called to carry forward the vision God first gave to Moses. Too often, people try to run ahead of God’s timing, hijack someone else’s assignment, or rebel against proper order. But in the Kingdom of God, honor and protocol matter.

Doc Murphy teaches that leadership structure is God-ordained, and those who walk in humility, maturity, and honor will see His blessing as they faithfully serve. Instead of forcing your own way, learn to wait on God’s timing, stay faithful in your current place, and embrace the posture of a servant. Whether or not your “turn” ever comes, your faithfulness speaks volumes.

This is a timely message for every believer who desires to lead with integrity and follow God’s way of doing things.

Forgive and Keep Digging

Mon, 08 Sep 2025 20:39:53 GMT

What has your heart right now? What’s eating at your heart? Just like a weasel gnaws at the heart of an eagle until it falls, the same thing can happen to us. People, persecution, and pain can eat away at your heart if you let them.

But the Word shows us another way. Isaac was digging wells, and every time he dug, people fought him over it. Yet he didn’t stop. He didn’t cry about it. When they tried to block him, he just moved on and dug another well. That’s the picture of perseverance. That’s what it looks like to keep pressing forward when people are attacking you.

You see, if you don’t learn to forgive and release the hurt, if you don’t let Jesus heal you, the pain will steal your focus and your fire. You can’t let bitterness, distraction, or opposition hold your heart hostage. If you do, you risk forfeiting your calling and destiny.

This episode is about learning to let go, to forgive, and to keep building, digging, and moving forward no matter what. Because your heart was created for more—and what holds it determines how high you fly.

Shepherds, Sheep, and Spiritual Covering

Sat, 06 Sep 2025 12:10:09 GMT

In this episode, Pastor Doc unpacks the vital role of having a pastor in every believer’s life. Scripture is clear—no Christian is meant to walk alone or live as a spiritual rebel. Just as sheep need a shepherd, God designed His people to have spiritual leaders who guide, protect, and disciple them. A pastor’s calling is to feed the flock, provide direction, and steward the church with wisdom and care. Drawing from Ephesians 4:11, Pastor Doc shows us how pastors are God’s gift to the body of Christ, equipping the saints and helping the church grow in unity and maturity.

Jesus Is Lord—Not the President

Fri, 05 Sep 2025 11:40:09 GMT

The President is not God, and he is not your pastor. As believers, we should honor, respect, and pray for those in authority, but we must never cross the line into idolatry. Too often, Christians become more vocal advocates for their political party than they are for Jesus and His Kingdom.

When was the last time you shared your faith, talked about the Kingdom of God, or invited someone to church? Many wear political t-shirts but won’t rep their own church. They’ll show up at political rallies but struggle to make it to a special church service. Social media lights up with debates and promotions for parties and candidates, yet goes quiet when it comes to spreading the Gospel.

Jesus is Lord, and His Church is the true spiritual government that reigns above all. His Kingdom is eternal and supreme. It’s time to shift our passion back to where it belongs—advancing the Kingdom of God. If the President asked, many would give financially without hesitation, yet some hesitate to tithe or sow into the work of the Lord. Something is off balance!

Let Psalm 47 remind us: “For God is King of all the earth; sing profound praises to Him. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne.” (vv. 7–8).

Jesus Became, So We Can Become

Wed, 03 Sep 2025 16:54:49 GMT

In this episode, Doc and Mary Murphy dive into what it means to truly have faith in who you are in Christ and how to walk that out daily. Salvation is the starting point of living from your new nature in Him—where faith becomes more than words, it becomes action. You don’t just declare who you are in Christ; you demonstrate it through your life.

Jesus exchanged His life so that we could become all God intended us to be: He became sin so we could be made righteous, He took sickness so we could walk in health, and He became poor so we could be rich in Him. This is the power of the great exchange.

Scripture Reference: 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV) — “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Engineered to Produce: Understanding the Seed Within You

Tue, 02 Sep 2025 09:50:08 GMT

In this episode, Pastor Doc Murphy unpacks the power of the seed. Every seed is divinely engineered to reproduce after its kind. A watermelon seed may be smaller than a peach seed, yet it produces a harvest far greater. The lesson? It’s never about size—it’s about design. Your seed has a God-given assignment, and once you discover what you’re created to produce, comparison and competition lose their grip. You’ll find freedom and encouragement knowing you are uniquely engineered by God to bring forth your own harvest on the earth.

The Rich Young Ruler: A Heart Issue, Not a Poverty Mandate

Sat, 30 Aug 2025 16:54:27 GMT

In this episode, Pastor Doc Murphy unpacks the story of the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17–31) and challenges the common misunderstandings surrounding it. Many believe Jesus was calling every believer to give up all possessions and live in poverty—but that’s not the case. This command was unique to one man whose heart was bound to his wealth. Jesus knew his possessions owned him, and until he let go, he could never follow wholeheartedly.

We’ll explore what it means when Jesus asks certain individuals to “follow Me”—sometimes as a call into deeper discipleship, and sometimes into apostolic ministry, as He did with the apostles. We’ll also see why the disciples themselves were astonished at Jesus’ words and how He assured them that with God, all things are possible.

This teaching will help you separate cultural misconceptions from biblical truth, understand God’s heart on wealth, and recognize the real issue: not possessions, but priorities. Whether rich or poor, God is after your heart—not your stuff.
