This lesson introduces the life, cultural background, and apostolic calling of the Apostle Paul. It emphasizes that Paul’s theology cannot be separated from his unique background as a zealous Jewish Pharisee who came to see Jesus as the Jewish Messiah, and his distinct calling as an apostle to the Gentile world.
