Usha – Vertical Worship and Olive Roots

Usha – Vertical Worship and Olive Roots takes us off the beaten track into the hills of the Galilee, where ancient Jewish history, deeply rooted olive trees, worship, and restoration come together. Usha became an important center of Jewish life in the generations following the destruction of Jerusalem, reminding us that even after displacement and devastation, roots can remain alive and communities can rise again. Chaim Malespin and Andre explore this remarkable setting while considering what it means to be rooted deeply while reaching vertically toward Elohim. Like the olive tree, Israel has endured seasons of pruning, pressure, scattering, and renewal, yet continues to bear fruit. Through Scripture, history, local voices, beautiful scenery, meaningful encounters, and authentic music and worship from the Land, this episode explores the relationship between ancient roots and present-day faith. The journey challenges viewers to ask where their own roots are planted and what it means to cultivate a life of worship that reaches upward while remaining grounded in covenant, community, and purpose. Usha becomes more than an archaeological location; it becomes a living picture of perseverance, worship, and the enduring roots of Israel.
